At Rainy Day Trust, we understand that life doesn't always go to plan and that's exactly why we're here.

We're proud to support people who have worked in the home improvement and enhancement industries, offering a helping hand to those who need it most.

We support people who work/have worked in builders' merchants, DIY, hardware, potteries and glass, housewares and garden centres, whether in manufacturing, wholesale, retail or distribution.

We also here for professional tradesmen including plumbers, carpenters, electricians and more, as well as apprentices and trainees.  We also extend our support to partners too.

Eligibility criteria:

We ask that you meet the following criteria to access our support:

• Less than £10K savings
• A low household income
• At least one year of continuous service with a single employer
